The Wimberley High School Library has 9,870 books and 565 audio visual materials.

Periodicals in Print
The library subscribes to approximately 56 print magazines, most of which are indexed in
The Abridged Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature.
We also subscribe to the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post Weekly, the Austin
American-Statesman, the San Antonio Express-News and several local newspapers.

Computers
The library has 11 individual student computers with Internet access.
We also have a separate computer lab with 18 computers that is available for classes that
are accompanied by a teacher.

Online Resources
*Students and teachers must have their own personal accounts and passwords for
accessing school computers. Please see the librarian about signing up for the district's network.
WHS library offers the following online resources:
+ the Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
+ the Facts on File Career Guidance Center (with password protected remote access)
+ the school edition of Encyclopedia Britannica, with a multimedia collection.
+ 17 [GALE] online magazine, reference and newspaper databases for K-12 students,
including:
~ The Twayne and Scribner authors series
~ Magazines and newspapers in Spanish
~ The Texas Almanac
~ Modules in Health, Shakespeare, poetry, U.S. History, world history,
and multicultural studies
~ Over 300 online professional journals.
NOTE:
Many of the databases include videos, pictures, sound clips and primary source documents.
