Due Dates for Materials Student materials are checked out for at least 2 weeks, and materials are always due on a Wednesday. After a two day grace period, students are charged a fine of $ .05 a day. Teachers may keep materials for as long as is necessary.
Equipment Check Out Every teacher or classroom will be assigned an overhead projector. The following equipment is available for check out by class period only. The sign up sheet is on the library counter and you may sign up as far in advance as you wish.

ESC Region XIII WISD belongs to the Region XIII Service Center, but we are NOT members of the video lending library.
Individual Students in the Library Please send no more than 4 unaccompanied students to the library. The students must have passes and work to do, and are expected to sign in when they get here.
Library Materials in the Classroom Teachers may check out books to take to their classrooms for students to use. Materials can easily disappear under these conditions however, so teachers are asked to take special care in accounting for all borrowed items.
Scheduling Classes in the Library We can have 2 to 3 classes at a time in the library. There are 11 individual student computers, and a separate library computer lab with 18 computers. The sign-up sheets for the library and for the library's computer lab are located on the circulation desk, and you may sign up as far in advance as you wish.
*Before you sign up for research projects, please make sure that the library has enough information on your topic!
Room 215 Computer Lab The lab in Room 215 contains 25 computers and is open during 1st and 4th periods every day. The sign up sheet for that computer lab is on the library circulation desk.
Miscellaneous Information
v Students and teachers are asked to enter and leave by the North Door of the library.
v Students are asked to leave ALL backpacks and large purses at the circulation desk.
v Library Orientation for classes may be scheduled at your convenience.
v There is no "Reference Section".
