Andrea Gonzales

Andrea Gonzales is the new Principal for Scudder Primary School. .  After spending much of her childhood in Heidelberg, Germany, she returned to Texas to attend Tarleton State University.   There she earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Guidance and Counseling.   She is now completing her Administrative Certification at Texas State.  

This is her tenth year as an educator; five as an elementary teacher, two years as a school counselor, assistant principal and now principal.   She is very excited about being here and loves being a part of the Wimberley community.   She and her husband have been married for 8 years and have a son, Drew.   They enjoy spending time with their families, playing golf and tennis, and traveling.

Chuck Clark

I have been working in education for over 14 years, doing much of my teaching on the Texas/Mexico border near Big Bend National Park.  My hobbies include river rafting, camping, hiking and just about any activity that takes place outdoors.   My wife and I live in San Marcos where she is a Nurse Practitioner with Texas State University.

Julia Robinson

My name is Julia Robinson and I am the secretary at Scudder Primary School.  I have worked in the school business for 19 years, most of which has been in the Wimberley Independent School District.  During that time, I have been an instructional aide, a registrar and a campus secretary (twice) on 3 out of the 4 campuses.

I have been married to Jimmy for 33 years and we have 2 sons.  Both boys graduated from Wimberley High School and now living and working nearby.  I feel blessed to have worked in the community where I live, and to have been part of a truly great group of educators. 

I am tickled to be here at Scudder and love each and every day.

Janiece Remeny

Hi everyone!  My name is Janiece Remeny.  I have been the Registrar and Attendance Clerk at Scudder Primary since April 2005.  My daughter’s Casey and Carly and I have lived in Wimberley since 1999 and we love it here. Before working for WISD, I worked at Texas State University for University Advancement in Alumni Relations and in Austin for a malpractice insurance company. Our favorite places to be in Wimberley are swimming in the Blanco river, going to Market Days and the 4th of July Parade.  Both of my girls love to play sports and currently play volleyball with the Lil’ Diggers program.

General School Information

School begins at 8:00 A.M.  If your child arrives after this time they are tardy.

School releases at 3:05 P.M. - please pick up your child no later than 3:15 P.M.  At 3:30 P.M. all students still here are brought to the office and you will have to come sign them out.

When your child is absent - please call the office so we can notify the teacher.  Please send a note with your child on the day they return to school explaining the absence(s).  If your child has been to a doctor - please provide a doctor's note.

Social Security Card


Proof of Residence – (Not a Post Office box; a utility bill or a tax statement with your name and address on it is the best method of evidence)


Withdrawal form – if you began the school year at another school.
