Hi,
my name is Cathy Cabler. This is my forth year to teach kindergarten
at Scudder. I have a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Public
Relations from the University of Oklahoma. I used this degree working
for the City of South Padre Island for four years. I realized that my
calling was elsewhere. I went back to school and received my teaching
certificate from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I taught 1
year of Kindergarten in Pt. Isabel, Texas, 5 years in 1st grade and 1
year in 3rd grade at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, and was lucky
enough to end up a Scudder Cowpoke. I have been married to my husband
Will for 16 years and we have three great kids. Calen (16) and
Austen (14) both attend Wimberley High School and are involved in the
drama department. Last, but not least, Stephen (12) is in the
7th grade at Danforth. He loves to play basketball. I stay plenty
busy with all of the above, but in my spare time I enjoy reading,
swimming, walking and OU football!

Howdy! I'm Rose Rudolph and I am a kindergarten teacher at Scudder Primary! I am married to Mark Rudolph and we have a wonderful son, Mark, who is in Wimberley ISD. We have lived here for many years and love Wimberley and the beautiful hill country. I have taught kindergarten for my whole teaching career. I love this age because I'm just a "big" kid at heart!! |

My name is Barbara Burleson, and this is my 20th year to teach! Most of my teaching experience has been at the kindergarten and first grade levels. This is my third year at Scudder Primary, and I LOVE it! Wimberley is a special place to live and work. My husband, Rick, and I have 3 wonderful children: Hazel, 25; Lauren, 23; and Zachary, 22. The girls have graduated from college, and Zach is a college senior. I enjoy entertaining family and friends, reading, listening to music, and traveling. |

Hello! My name is Debi Belvin and I am so excited to be here this year! I graduated from Texas State with a degree in Early Childhood Education and I have worked in the San Marcos and Wimberley school districts. As a first year teacher, I will be able to include my knowledge of the latest teaching strategies in this classroom. As a student teacher, I had the privilege of being equipped by Mrs. Burleson (a fellow Kindergarten teacher at Scudder) last fall. I consider it an honor to be working in this school district. I recently got married to the most wonderful man in the world, Grayson Belvin. He was raised in Wimberley and we both just love this town! Since I love to travel, I have been able to see countries such as: Macedonia, Serbia, Colombia, England, Honduras, and Mexico, and have enjoyed experiencing new cultures. As you parents and I work together this year, you will discover that art and artistic expression are very important to me. I hope to be able to transmit that same love to your children. I have been involved in dance teams and community theatres. I
am eager to teach Kindergarten and I think it will be a great year!
