Wimberley ISD is proud to be a recognized district for the 2006 school year.  It is through the hard work of dedicated teachers and staff and committed parents that our district continues to be a leader in every aspect of education.  This chart shows the number of school districts by year in each category.  In 2003 the accountability system was completely redone and all subgroups were included in order for the accountability rating to be achieved.  In addition, the passing standard continues to rise.  Please visit the Texas Education Agency Website for more information at http://www.tea.state.tx.us.
