Meetings -1st Wednesday of every month.
Wimberley FFA has been making tracks since 1996. Kids in grades 3-12 have chosen to participate in FFA by selecting, feeding, and grooming an animal in an effort to develop an auction ring worthy project. They purchase their animal of choice and work with the animal every day. The school year project requires an enormous sense of commitment on the part of the participants. From their project, they gain important experience in all aspects of the free enterprise system, from time management and self-motivation, to accurate records keeping and financial planning.
This past year the members of the Wimberley FFA accumulated over $22,000.00 in earnings from their Agriculture projects. |
